ANY-SHAPE

Any-Shape competitive assets are based on three main pillars:

- Engineering, co-conception & design for additive manufacturing: Any-Shape provides its customers with a professional support to exploit the full possibilities of industrial 3D printing while properly accounting for manufacturing constraints from the concept to the detailed design phase.

SW_CM Experts

The Closed Mould Experts project has clearly a "More composite" scheme, supported by the SKYWIN cluster. The APC project considers indeed the use of the RTM technology and the technique of closed moulds.

The project mainly aims at increasing the level of knowledge of composite materials within the Walloon Region and at developing in the local environment a unique European competence for closed mould design. Those moulds are used for the fabrication of fibre-reinforced parts through resin injection (fabric, braids, ...).

SW_TLS

Global aircraft industry (Airbus, Boeing, …), which is naturally very demanding in terms of machining process quality, is gradually equipping its machining centres with miniaturized and optimised micro-lubrication systems.

They contribute to improving the quality and efficiency of the machining process by optimising the cutting conditions of metals and by reducing the consumption of lubricant.

SW_TELECOM

This project aims at playing a significant role in the new generation of airbone and electronic systems required by the new
aeronautical programs (A380, A350 XWB, A400M, B787,…).

The project will focus on:

SW_HM+

Predictive maintenance is a major goal of the aeronautical sector. It enables to monitor the aircraft’s "health" and schedule the technical interventions at the best moment, while complying with the technical and economical tight requirements of maintenance.

To do so, it is required to design, develop and manufacture health monitoring microsystems, built in both aircraft and space structures and systems, which goals are the early detection of problems, the reduction of maintenance costs and the extension of the service life of structures and equipment.

SW_APC

This project aims at accelerating the transition of the Walloon aircraft industry with an extensive use of composite materials in aircraft instead of metallic materials. Composite materials enable indeed to reduce the weight of aircraft (and thus their consumption), to increase the mechanical performance of structures (and thus their durability) and to reduce the ecological impact (noise, pollution, etc.).

SW_AIRCAP

The investment project aims at providing Advanced Coating with a computerized and automated system of plasma spraying and HVOF. This new equipment unique in Wallonia, will also be provided with a two-position turntable and will permit the mass surface coating of aircraft components.
Surface treatment processes will protect parts against wear, fretting or even high temperature oxidation.
