CALL FOR PROJECTS
In line with Belgian Defence’s commitment to strengthening the national technological and knowledge base, the Royal Higher Institute for Defence & the Cyber Command wish to enhance collaborations with all cybersecurity stakeholders. STRIKE IT will fund projects in the context of the Cyber Defense Factories. Starting in 2026, a call for projects will be launched, with up to 12 projects eligible for funding.
To inform potential applicants about the context, scope, and modalities of this call, two dedicated info sessions will be organized:
• Wednesday 11 February 2026 at CDF6000 (Charleroi A6K) and on • Thursday 12 February 2026 at CDF8000 (Brugge Howest).
Theme 2026: Internet of Things cybersecurity
Theme 1 CDF6000 – Charleroi A6K Focus on land and air domains Cybersecurity of connected objects: flying, driving, smart appliances.
Theme 2 CDF8000 – Brugge Howest Focus on maritime and naval domains Cybersecurity of connected objects aboard vessels and in port.

« Façonnez l’avenir de la cybersécurité avec STRIKE IT »
La Défense belge, via les Cyber Defense Factories du Cyber Command, lance le programme de financement STRIKE IT afin de renforcer la base technologique et de connaissances nationale en cybersécurité. Cette initiative soutient des projets au sein des Cyber Defense Factories, favorisant les partenariats triple hélice entre l’industrie, le monde académique et les autorités publiques.
Points clés :
- Thème 2026 : Cybersécurité de l’Internet des Objets (IoT)
- CDF6000 – Charleroi A6K : Domaines terrestre et aérien (objets connectés : volants, roulants, appareils intelligents)
- CDF8000 – Brugge Howest : Domaines maritime et naval (objets connectés à bord des navires et dans les ports)
- Financement : Jusqu’à 150 000 € par projet
- Durée : Maximum 6 mois
- Critères : TRL7, innovation à double usage requise
- Accès : Écosystèmes et infrastructures des CDF
- Nombre de projets financés : Jusqu’à 6 projets par factory
- Date limite de soumission : 08 mars 2026
