Transport Medical par drone en Belgique : Flying-Cam sélectionné

Flying-Cam’s SARAH 4.0 (Special Aerial Response Automatic Helicopter) has been selected as part of the European project Saphir-Ready, led by Helicus, to provide the world's first fast and efficient drone-based medical cargo transportation between hospitals and dialysis centers.

The first Drone Cargo Port (DCP), developed by Helicus, has been inaugurated at the Jan Yperman Ziekenhuis Hospital in Ypres. This unattended landing platform is designed to retrieve the drone's payload and seamlessly transfer it into the hospital using a pneumatic tubing system, commonly utilized in large-scale infrastructures.

The SARAH 4.0, proudly manufactured in Belgium by Flying-Cam, is uniquely capable of transporting an 8 kg payload over distances exceeding 20 km—making it an ideal solution for medical logistics.

This initiative is supported by EASA under the BURDI project, which paves the way for integrating manned and unmanned aviation in the emerging much awaited Digital Aviation era."
