Project structure

It all starts with a call for projects from the Walloon government. The stakeholders (businesses, research centres, universities) show their interest with a letter of intent to the Skywin cluster. Subsequently, Skywin assesses the preliminary drafts which includes studying the basic criteria, the project's originality, its development potential and the strength of the consortium; then the administration assesses the public aid available.

Then the international scientific experts and Skywin’s Internal Selection Committee assess the project. If the latter passes, it is presented for technical analysis by the functional administrations and finally submitted to the international jury organised by Wallonia.

Throughout this process, the applicants are monitored, advised and supported by the Skywin team. Not only for the process itself but also to optimise the project’s content.
